How Kite checks schools
Listing a school and checking its requirements are two different things. You can browse and save any listed program. Kite only compares your courses against requirements someone has checked, and it tells you which is which.
What each label means
- Verified requirements
- Someone at Kite checked each requirement against an official source. Each one shows its source and the date it was checked. The school is still the final authority.
- Verification in progress
- Someone at Kite is checking this program’s requirements against official sources. Some may be missing or not final.
- Needs review
- Something about this program’s requirements has been questioned. Treat them as unconfirmed until Kite finishes checking.
- Outdated
- Kite checked this program a while ago and hasn’t rechecked it, so requirements may have changed.
- Directory only
- Kite lists this program, but nobody at Kite has checked its requirements. You can save it and use the school’s own site, and Kite won’t guess what it requires.
- Sample data, not a real school
- An invented program that shows how requirement matching works. Don’t use it for planning.
What Kite has checked so far
25 programs listed, 3 with verified requirements, and 84 colleges in the search. A college that isn’t listed can be typed in by hand.
| Pathway | Listed | Verified | In progress | Directory only |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Medicine (MD) | 6 | 2 | 4 | 0 |
| Osteopathic medicine (DO) | 1 | 0 | 1 | 0 |
| Physician assistant (PA) | 11 | 0 | 11 | 0 |
| Dentistry (DDS/DMD) | 2 | 1 | 1 | 0 |
| Law (JD) | 5 | 0 | 5 | 0 |
Each program’s official site is always the final authority. Kite doesn’t predict admission, and a verified label isn’t an endorsement by the school.
